Mountain Fifes and Drums
Our local Mountain Fifes
and Drums corp will lead a demonstration march from the Twin Peaks County parking lot to Rotary Centennial Park at 10 am.
We are lucky to have one of the nation’s
best Fifes and Drums corps. They were invited to a drummers call
at Williams burg and one of only three fife and drum corps in the
nation selected to perform at the Jamestown 400 year anniversary.
Directors Kevin will also give an education presentation
following the march. They will also be setting up an historic encampment.
Believe me everyone really enjoyed this group and we are so glad to have them be a part again

Senara
Back again we all really enjoyed this heavenly sounding group and are excited to have them back. Named after a Celtic legend of a mermaid, this group includes Sandy
Huckaby and Dianne Grady on hammered dulcimers and Carol Potter
on a Celtic harp. They have played together for about five years.
Their music includes a combination of fast digs and reels of Ireland
as well as soft airs and waltzes of Celtic tradition. Each member
will give an explanation and history of her unique instrument. For
