Mountain Fifes and Drums
Our local Mountain Fifes and Drums Corps will lead a demonstration march from the Twin Peaks County parking lot to Rotary Centennial Park at 10 am.

We are lucky to have one of the nation’s best Fifes and Drums Corps. They were invited to a drummers call at Williams burg and one of only three fife and drum corps in the nation selected to perform at the Jamestown 400 year anniversary. Director Kevin will also give an education presentation following the march.

Last year everyone really enjoyed this group and we are so glad to have them be a part again

For more info on this fabulous group visit their web site www.mountainfifesanddrums.org

Craig Dooley

We are so happy to have Craig Dooley back as our host for the festival.

This very talented entertainer will also perform with his flute and guitar.

Craig Dooley has been in the music business and performing at events since 13 years of age, first starting as a musician on guitar, keyboards, flutes, and vocals.

The National Forest Association

While you’re at the Pine Cone Festival be sure to stop by and talk to George and Pam Morey about the National Forest Association’s Fire Lookout Host Program. George and Pam Morey will be available at their booth and on stage to share with you the history of Fire Lookouts and how they play an important part as first line defense against fire. Fire Lookouts offer majestic views, solitude, quiet, heroic vigilance - the seven fire lookouts of the San Bernardino National Forest capture a romantic part of California’s past.  Stop by the booth to learn how to use the 1934 Osborne Fire Finder to spot a smoke and win a prize!  You can also learn how to spin weather using a Belt Weather Kit.  See you on Saturday!
